How soon can you start?

Most projects can take a month or two to work with the client to design and budget. At J. Reis Renovations we like to give our projects the attention they deserve. For that reason, we typically focus on one project at a time. It is best to contact us a few months before you would like to start your project so we can adequately plan for and design your space.

How long will my project take?

This depends on the size and detail involved in your project. A simple kitchen renovation can take as little at 4 weeks. Once we are more familiar with what you want we can provide you with a better timeline on how long a project will take.

How do we protect finished spaces?

We understand that renovations can be dusty and messy. We do our best to protect finished surfaces in your home. We will cover all finished floors that we intend to walk on with temporary, protective materials. We will also install temporary dust barriers to keep dust contained to work area and out of your finished spaces. In addition, we will ensure that our work space is left clean and tidy at the end of each day to minimize the amount of dust left in the air.

Do you subcontract your work?

We take pride in doing all the work ourselves. We strive to maintain a standard of work above the competition. Our passion for the job and attention to detail go into every aspect of your project, from design, to demolition, to the finishing touches. When necessary, we will bring in specialty trades from our list of trusted, local businesses for certain aspects of your project (i.e. electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc.).

Who will I be in contact with during the renovation process?

J. Reis Renovations is a small, local business. When you contact us to plan your next project, you will deal directly with our owner and operator, Jason Reis. He will assist you with every step of your project, from planning to finishing.
