Jason Reis is the owner and operator of J. Reis Renovations. At a young age, Jason was drawn to tools and carpentry and spent much of his free time building different things and honing his skills. After high school, Jason attended Mohawk College for their cabinet making course, only to realize that he did not want to be limited to just building cabinets; he wanted more freedom to explore different areas of construction. This led him to Architectural Technology where he learned a lot of the practical knowledge of building and construction, but it wasn’t “hands-on” enough. Through the Construction Engineering course, Jason was able to combine his past knowledge with the hands-on nature of building. 

After completing his education, Jason began working with a local contractor, where he continued to learn and build on his skills. For over ten years, Jason has work with various companies where he was able to learn more about barrier-free renovations and where he was able to work on high-end renovation jobs in multi-million dollar custom homes in the GTA and surrounding areas. While the work was rewarding, there was still something missing. He was enjoying the renovation process but was still craving the freedom to expand his methods and explore the use of new tools and materials. This led him to start his own business, J. Reis Renovations.

As a business owner, Jason has been able to combine his passion for tools and building, his past knowledge and experiences and his hard working nature and attention to detail to provide his clients with a high-end quality of work. Jason understands the value of hard work and at J. Reis Renovations we strive to ensure that every project is completed with the utmost care every step of the way. J. Reis Renovations is constantly exploring new methods and tools to complete jobs with efficiency, from dust-free drywall technology to using new and improved materials to provide clients with a beautiful and lasting finish to their home renovation projects.
